Á. Óskarsson ehf. selur og byggir sundlaugar frá stórfyrirtækinu Myrtha Pools sem hefur í meira en 50 ár verið að þróa framleiðslu sínu á sundlaugum úr ryðfríu stáli.
Myrtha Pools er í dag stærsti og virtasti framleiðandi sundlaugamannvirkja á alþjóðavísu og eru sundlaugar frá þeim að finna í öllum heimshornum. Myrtha Pools framleiðir sundlaugar af öllum stærðum og gerðum og þjóna þær sem almenningslaugar, einkalaugar, hótel laugar og að ógleymdu sem keppnislaugar en sundlaugar frá Myrtha Pools eru nánast án undantekninga byggðar fyrir og notaðar á öllum helstu stórmótum í sundi.
Á Íslandi höfum við byggt þó nokkrar laugar frá Myrtha Pools, fyrst úr galvaníseruðu stáli en á seinni tímum allar úr ryðfríu stáli. Þá byggðum við einnig fyrstu og einu 50 m. sundlaug Færeyinga sem mikil ánægja er með.
Myrtha laugar geta verið í öllum stærðum og gerðum. Hefðbundnar ferkantaðar eða í fríu formi með mjúkum línum. Hægt er að fá þær sjónrænt séð í nokkrum mismunandi útfærslum, t.d. í svokölluðum „Classic“ stíl eða með flísalögðum kanti sem gefur þeim útlit flísalagðra lauga án þeirra vandamála þó sem fylgja steyptum flísalögðum laugum.

Older, typically concrete, pools can become obsolete as they age. Our RenovAction® technology, using the Myrtha Pools modular, engineered system, is ideal for swimming pool refurbishment. Depending on pool condition, it may be the walls, the floor or the entire pool structure that has deteriorated and needs to be replaced. Our flexible technology allows us to refurbish only the areas that are failing and can often be carried out without any significant demolition.

The many finishes available for Myrtha Pools offer both functional and aesthetic benefits. Thanks to our sturdy PVC laminate, virtually all tile, glass and stone finishes that are appropriate for pool environments can be used to customize pool design. For a “wow” factor, our acrylic wall panels, which are similar to glass in appearance but much more appropriate for a pool environment, more transparent and lighter, create a stunning finish.

Our engineered pool-building approach is an exercise in precision. For that reason, we are not only involved in every step from planning to installation, but we also manufacture most of the components that are used to create our pools.
Pool plans are executed in-house by our professional team equipped with the most advanced design and modelling software. Detailed 3-D renderings of pool components and assemblies, along with a complete materials list, are provided to our local installation team.
Advanced Engineered Desing and Quality Control
A Myrtha pool can be built and installed in a very short amount of time due to the pre-engineered design. Through an automated process, pool components are manufactured in Italy at the Company’s headquarters and then shipped directly to the building site. The modular design facilitates a speedy installation as it avoids the use of heavy equipment and significantly reduces the risk of assembly mistakes on the construction site.
